Dhakkir collects no data about you. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere, because the app has no way to send it.
There is no account, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. The app makes no network requests at all.
What is stored, and where
Dhakkir keeps a small amount of information so it can work the way you left it. All of it stays on your device.

This lives in the app’s own container and in an App Group that Dhakkir shares with its own Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets. Nothing else can read it, and none of it leaves the device.
What Dhakkir does not do
- No account. There is no sign-in, no profile and no password.
- No network. The app contains no networking code. Every verse, narration and lesson is bundled inside the app, which is why it works in airplane mode.
- No advertising. No ad SDKs, no ad identifiers, no ad network is linked.
- No analytics. No usage statistics, no crash reporting, no third-party frameworks of any kind.
- No tracking. Nothing about you is linked to anything about you elsewhere, so the App Tracking Transparency prompt never appears.
- No location. Dhakkir never asks for your location and does not use location services.
- No purchases. There is nothing to buy, and no subscription.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely by your device. Dhakkir explains why it would like to send notifications before the system asks you, and the app works fully if you decline. Nothing about a reminder — that it was scheduled, delivered or opened — is reported anywhere.
Your own notes
You can attach a private note to something you have saved, or write a short reflection. These are yours. They stay on your device, there is no way to publish or share them from inside the app, and nobody else can read them.
Deleting everything
Open Settings from the gear on the Today screen and choose Delete my data. This removes your saved items, notes, prayer records, journey progress, mood entries, the record of which reminders you opened, the recently-viewed trail, the reminder history and any zakat figures — saved or unfinished — immediately and permanently from the device. Your settings, such as language, appearance and whether the pronunciation line is shown, are kept so the app still opens the way you like it.
Deleting the app removes everything, including the settings.
Children
Dhakkir is suitable for a broad audience and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.
Privacy manifest
Both the app and its widget ship an Apple privacy manifest declaring no collected data and
no tracking domains. Two required-reason APIs are declared: reading and writing your
settings on the device (CA92.1) and reading the bundled content files (3B52.1). Neither
is used to identify you.
Changes
If a future version of Dhakkir ever collects anything, this page will say so before that version is released, and the app will ask you first.
